It is 6th January, Christmas has passed, and Jesus has been born. Babushka has missed the event but is still determined to deliver her precious gift. She sets out on her adventures and meets some interesting characters on her journey. An interactive story-telling project, specially designed for the 3-1l years involving the children in listening, speaking, sounding, song, movement and decision making. The programme is intended to support National Curriculum specifications and a Teachers Follow-Up Pack will be available upon request. |

Babushka's Gift creates an array of colourful and interesting characters who will capture the imagination of the children. An exciting and lively show allowing children to experience first hand the joys and skill of traditional story-telling set in historic and modern contexts. |
Nicky Rafferty taught in both primary education and drama, prior to her career as an actor and storyteller and has worked on a variety of projects for Roundabout Theatre-In-Education Company and Nottingham Playhouse. Hard Graft Theatre Company are an East Midlands based company who have worked closely with Nicky before and bring with them a wealth of performance experience. |
